		received today and after checking i can say that it is a genuine copy with pinky label, machine cut, and correct matrix number.. handwrittings seems to be the same as on the book on record... all is that the blank side is handwritten not the playing a-side... should create a mislabeled copy area haha :)) happy new year to all of you....

		Ahh thats a hard one to explain, when you ave had a few you can normally tell (not always) do you have another acetate to compare it to? from approx the same year? if not just check the label (should be machine cut not hand cut) check to see if the label has been falsely stained, play it of course (but only a few seconds just to make sure it is correct (somewhere random in the middle) - very very careful with that one - if in doubt upload some very close up shots of everything to flickr etc and post us a link and we can take a look as well

		I collected a number of information for some mastering studios because these discs have always interested me. The Townhouse Sex pistols acetate is genuine to me. This seller also sells two other acetates at prices suited for this kind of artists where counterfeiting is not really interesting. From what I noticed, Pistols like Siouxsie collectors do not reach a very high amount (this is still true nowadays) at the difference for The Cure. Although to be a rarity, that Sex Pistols acetate is only from 1983 (Virgin re-issue) and the starting price is rather high, like the lament TP. Fabio got his 3 Cure rarities (Lament TP, Charlotte & Killing acetates) from England in the 1982-1984, at a time Cure records where sold for a few tens of pounds. Ten years ago he told me he wanted to sell his record collection including Cure. According what I see he seem not in hurry to sold them and it is a rather huge starting price but I think he doesnâ??t care to sell or not them. As I already told you in another discussion, Fabio sent 10 years ago some pictures of his three Cure rarities to me, mindycure and others. Glad mindycure recognized using these images for this site and glad to see Iâ??m not telling bullshit. Concerning PRT studio I have no expertise to say whether Killing an arab acetates from this studio are genuine or not. But, he got it in a period where I do not believe in the existence of fake Cure acetates. Iâ??m also glad to see recently that some variations of Lament label TP could exist as I suggested. @amocure I agree with your comment.

		It make sense, lot of people collect pistols so if this going out without any bids, something isnt right here.

		I look at it this way, there are a lot of big pistol collectors out there who know their stuff and have written many books on them - why has there been no bids after 5 days? yes some people leave it till the last min but to have no bids at all speaks volumes to me - not saying it is a fake as I have no idea - not saying he knows it is a fake as it might be real or he might think its real - just does not sit right with me

		every year the same problem....for me, it is impossible to distinguish an original acetate from a fake well done acetate / you can only trust in your experience, in your emotions and in your seller....many people know i'm italian and many people know i'm a hard collector, so please don't forgot, NOT ALL the Italian guys have only fake records, but yes in Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, and some other land, there are many faker producer....this is only my opinion, i dont want to anger any

		Tsao, this is not strange at all, the record which is pictured on this site belongs to Fabio. Mindycure has only sent the Pictures to the site. I can send you an email which explains things better, also charlotte sometimes master room belongs to Fabio/Lasse

		The handwriting and even the stains are the same. It's a fake, unless mindycure confirms she sold her copy, which I doubt. Anyone knowing mindycure can ask her and get the answer.

		In my humble opinion, looking at his other items for sale, I think he was a real collector. So i'll say this is genuine. I know that italians are famous for make fake records. But try to imagine... I'm italian too. And if for some reason one day I'll sell my entire collection of records what will you think? that everything I own is fake?... everyone can cheat. Betray. As an example in the last 2 years i have lost my money on some fake garbage coming from Germany, France and California.
