Thanks. It's very unlikely too to find a copy like Concert mint. The seller is a little hero for that too. You can mark a white line by just a soft touch with your nails. The kind of item that can easily loose it's mint condition when removing from the seal. Personally, these are 5 star in mint condition (if not in any condition). I love tapes.

Those flyers were given 6 years ago and said (in Japanese) something like "I'm a The Cure collector and I'm looking for any The Cure Japanese cassette. Please if you have one or find one please contact me at (...). I pay very well.". Maybe I mistyped the last sentence? "I pray very well" or something like this. That's why. The story of these Vaps appeared on ebay is the following, as told by the seller: That's amazing you actually went to visit Vap. well, I actually got these sometime in the 80's around when they were released. I used to work for an importer in those years in the L.A. area (actually the old original Rhino records building) and we imported from around the world. Back then we did very well with Japanese imports and it was amazing the the titles that were available over there. All vinyl of course in those days. I came across the tapes in a Vap catalog or new release booklet that came in the shipment. I used to scan through everything and would find many titles we could order to sell. Back then the exporters did not produce these massive lists or solicit all these titles to you, we had to dig and look around for the information ourselves. so sometimes they'd show a picture of the the album cover and there would be the LP cat# and sometimes a tape cat# below the photo. That's how I came to order them. I only ordered 1 of each for myself as I was a big fan. I just thought they'd be cool to have. At that time no store was interested in Japanese tapes. We did sell some of the indie UK cassette only things like on the Factory label etc. anyway, that's how I got them. I've always taken good care of my records and things so I had these tape racks on the wall I'd keep them in and they stayed there for years. When we moved to our house those racks ended up on a closet and stayed there for many more years untouched til this year when I decided to go through them to sell. It brought back a lot of memories looking at them that's for sure. so that's their history. I knew they'd be good items but I didn't expect this good! lucky they were in good hands all these years and now they've been passed on to good hands again.

Why not? It might be a matter of just another 30 years. Don't try to give away 100 fliers to Japanese fans in a Cure concert in Japan, or visit VAP headquarters in Tokyo, or buy a Japan record dealers guide book and send an email (in Japanese) to ALL of them. I tried. It won't work.

Ahaha,no chance of that...Funny how those tapes just surfaced a couple of months ago...i love it, it gives hope to still find some mega rare items despite the near completeness on the site..
