Two versions of jacket and inner sleeves

I have two copies of this UK Show 2LP, and I noticed that there are two different versions of the jacket and inner sleeves. One has the photos with matte/dull varnish and everything else is glossy (looks like the one pictured here for item #2465). The other has the photos with gloss/shiny varnish and everything else is matte/dull. I guess when it was reprinted, they switched out the varnishes? Webmaster, would this make a different item? It was definitely a new pressing at least for the jacket and inner sleeves, which would have required a new run from the printer. Anyone else noticed these two variations? Let me know if you are able to check your personal copies! I'll check the run-off inscriptions and see if they are different as well. Thanks, Zack

		Thanks for update Web, i actually had the matte black copy:), now i must buy the other one. And its the same for Paris Uk Lp to, it exist with two different sleeves, same as this Show Lp.

		Apologies for this late update, Zack. Finally, we got the matte black listed. For those unfamiliar with this post, please double check your item: you might have a matte black copy, not a glossy one.

		i once had a copy of WMS with a matt effect and sold it now i have a UK copy and a US copy and both are glossy... just to say

		I meant jackets AND inners, you know. Yes more copies with the glossy inner would indicate more like that's not a mispressing.

		Yes, they are drastically different looking with respect to the varnishes. It's not just a slight variation that might happen within the same print run, or between two runs of the same job. Possible there is a misprint... it could be that the printer had switched the varnishes in the printing press (however that works), and it was rerun correctly after. If we find other members with the glossy-photos version, it would indicate two different full print runs, I think.

		What the hell... Well, considering your copies show differences on jackets AND sleeves, like they were reprinted with the varnishes switched out, I guess yes, that would make two different items (or less likely, you got a mispressed version). This said, however, in general we will not consider different items jackets that may show slight differences on the glossy or matte, which would look more like they could be the same run despite the variety on the varnish.

I've just pulled this out of my collection and my copy has promo stickers on the back sleeve and on side 2 and 4 labels (same as the Paris promo). I'll send pictures etc when I get the chance.
