My LPs are not perfectly flat but nowhere near as described by melt05. The sound does not seem to be affected. I agree with easyjeje that they are light but it sounds MUCH better than the CD, which is easily the worst-sounding Cure CD ever made. I enjoy this album much more on LP.

never let copies sealed, it makes the vinyl even worse. and with this it is extremely strongly sealed, at least mine was...

I just want to keep my copy sealed... but yes, the manufacturing looks very "light" !

Just picked up a copy of the Lp in HMV Oxford Street in London, and they only had 1 left...but it's the U.S issue, identical as the one shown here...I thought there would be a European one, but it doesn't look likely now. :(

Yes it was a hard work doing that. We thought we got the exact recreation of the sleeve for everyone to see but thanks to some of you we found out the CD and vinyl are different on that detail! Apologies. As said, that was the only case we tried that way so rest assure regarding the 4,450+ remanent items. We have the 12" so we'll be scanning it as time allows.

so does this mean the sticker is overlayed to form the image, now that deserves an apology trying to trick us in that way.................

OMG, we didn't pay the proper atention to this subject... but suddenly now we got the explanation! When the vinyl was out, we used the CD booklet to create the 12" image because we thought it was exactly the same design (!!!). Shall we laugh or apologise? Probably both! Sorry for this great mystery... but no mystery anymore. We are pleased to say it's the only case we did so, and more pleased to say we already received the 12" size scanner. We'll replace the image.

Hi ! Does anyone find an explanation for the 'X' and the '\' since the last post ? I'd really like to know more about these differences... :-) Thanks in advance. Regards / Rod x

hello, no "x" and no "/" on mine too, the pattern on the cd-booklet comes from the backside, also the blue dot on the E is different eddie

Hey ! mine doesn't have the black slash (/) and cross (x) above the finger too... maybe 2 different releases ? It will be interesting to check the run-off notations on vinyls, but my copy is sealed and I don't want to open it :-)

LPs sold in France by Universal are ALL US import copies. So I would say there is NO european release for the LP...

I guess we'll have to wait and see...strange though, that when the cd came out on 28/10, there was no vinyl available in U.K shops till 10/11...and then it's only a U.S release...in probably what is the biggest record shop in the U.K(HMV Oxford street)..i have reservations regarding an E.U or U.K release at this stage...

eu or uk edition exists. I asked a seller from uk, and he said it was uk release, but i doubt it is. I think it is more eu release. /Lasse!
