Bon Jovi's album "Bon Jovi" was pressed in early 1984, so we think this record is pressed that year as well. These pictures surfaced recently and we've been surfing the net in search for any piece of information regarding this Armed Forces Radio label and discography, but little or nothing has come afloat. So, we've emailed the American Forces Network (AFN) Broadcast Center through the US Defense Media Activity site (www.dma.mil). This is the response we've got: "Hi, The album you're talking about is a special production solely for use by the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS). Back in the day when we used albums, those albums were pressed purely for use for worldwide broadcast to US military on American Forces Network (AFN) Radio. They are considered U.S. Government Property and must be returned to us if anyone finds one. The singles on the albums are the same as the songs that were popular at the time on U.S. radio. V/R Senior Chief Harrington AFN Broadcast Center". From Wikipedia: "The AFN worldwide radio and television broadcast network serves American service men and women, Department of Defense and other US government civilians and their families stationed at bases overseas, as well as U.S. Navy ships at sea.     Hi Salvatore. We've classified all split records as The Cure (ie. Italian juke-box, etc), so we'd keep it this way for consistency.
