Not this copy, but another one was sold on eBay 2 years ago. The seller described the item like this: I OBTAINED THIS FROM AN OLD FICTION EMPLOYEE AND HE SAYS THEY DID "AT THE VERY MOST, FIVE WITH THIS PHOTOGRAPHED SLEEVE". THE PHOTO IS STUCK ON, IE. IT'S NOT A PRINTED SLEEVE LIKE THIS AND HE ALSO SAID "WE HAD TO INCLUDE A PIC OF THE BAND FOR PRESS AND WE AGREED THAT THE PROPOSED IMAGE THAT WAS EVENTUALLY USED WAS NOT IDEAL FOR PROMOTION PURPOSES, AS YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT THE CURE HAD NO WAY BROKEN THROUGH AT THIS TIME AND THIS DARKER ALBUM NEEDED WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A BIGGER PUSH" (HIS EXACT WORDS!).

    This website, although very well done, is simply entertaining a neverending growing source of gigantic extreme frustration, seeing all these marvellous records we'll never have... Shame on you! :)

    Can anyone tell me the matrix number for this first cut? I have a 1/2 promo copy which is A1/B2, unfortunately there's no picture on the sleeve.
