It's the first Join the dots on cassette, and also the first cassette x5 format on the site. Thank you zakiaaa.

I definitely have a nostalgia for tapes... I remember mowing my parents lawn back in the 80s while listening to old tapes on my Walkman (Cure, Echo & The Bunnymen, Modern English, and many others that were very exotic to my ears at the time, in the middle of what felt like nowhere, USA). It's going to be interesting as CDs become more and more old fashioned. Two very large chains in the US are phasing out CD sales from their stores this year (Best Buy and Target). I think we are headed toward a music world that is mostly streaming/subscription and vinyl. It's funny that the most modern and most old fashioned formats will survive...

Thank you!! Yes, really odd and beautiful. I personally enjoy tapes more and more every year, as they become harder to come across ;)

Videotapes and cassettes were still quite common back in 2005 in Ukraine. In fact, ā??the cureā? lp was released on cassette. All these promo releases were issued by Ukrainian to ā??feelā?? market reaction and thus decide what to publish. On this site are a number of examples of cancelled titles previously planned for release. And, as far as I know, Ukrainian label keeps a discussion every year for new re-releases of all artists.

No idea. Maybe zakiaaa knows? The thing is, they didn't release most of them, as far as we know. They got the rights from Universal in 2000/2001, so my guess is they would issue physical copies of everything, regardless of what they would release.

Yes but why did they release vhs "In Orange" or "Play out" in 2001 ? Or "Festival 2005" on vhs instead of dvd ? Or "JTD" on cassettes ? I don't really understand...

I guess the same reason all promotional materials are made for?
